LOW-NOISE ULTRAHIGH FREQUENCY (UHF) AMPLIFIERS,

Abstract

The book discusses the physical bases and principles of operation of the low-noise UHF amplifiers. These amplifiers appeared as a result of the latest achievements of physics and radioelectronics, and presently are finding an ever-increasing application. The introduction of low-noise amplifiers in the receiving systems of military technology, communication facilities (for example, with artificial earth satellites) instruments used in radio astronomy, etc., have markedly increased the potentialities of the equipment.
