COORDINABILITY IN A TWO LEVEL SYSTEM,

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study two level systems of the following form: The process P is a mapping from M = M sub 1 x M sub 2 x...x M sub n into Y = Y sub 1 x Y sub 2 x...x Y sub n, which is a subject to the performance G : MxY(arrow)V where G(m,y) = phi(G sub 1 (m sub 1, y sub 1),..., G sub n (m sub n, y sub n)) and V is a linearly ordered set. G sub i (m sub i, y sub i) are the first level performances for the subprocesses y sub i = P sub i (m). The goal of the system is minimization of G(m,P(m)). (Author)
