Abstract

The author proposes a method for cavitation testing hydraulic turbine models. This method makes it possible to simplify experimentation and to give a better explanation for turbine operation under conditions of cavitation. The method was developed at the hydroturbine Division of the Cavitation Laboratory at the Central Scientific Research Design and Planning Boiler and Turbine Institute imeni I. I. Polzunov. (Author)
