ELECTROSTATIC FOCUSING OF HOLLOW SPIRALING ELECTRON BEAMS.

Abstract

The first experimental tube was assembled and installed on a vacuum system for test. Extended bake out was necessary and the tube was not yet ready for test at the end of the reporting period. A program for the calculation of current at the collectors is being prepared. A procedure for the design of filaments is included as an Appendix. (Author)
