THE SOLUTION OF SOME SINGULAR CAUCHY PROBLEMS,

Abstract

Singular Cauchy problems which are generalizations of the classical Euler-Darboux-Poisson (EPD) problem are considered. Solutions are obtained in some instances using transmutation operators and in other cases using integral operators. Uniqueness and Huygen's property of the solutions are discussed. (Author)
