EMBEDDING OF LISP LANGUAGE CAPABILITIES IN THE GROWING MACHINE SYSTEM.

Abstract

The work that shall be described in this paper relates to the embedding of LISP language capabilities in an 'Expanding Computer Operating System' (host system). There are two main objectives of our work: (a) To construct a system in which we are able to use a mixture of the LISP language and the Expanding Computer System language. (b) To use to a maximum degree the facilities provided by our host system. In particular, since the host system is an interpretative system, our main target will be to use its basic interpretative cycle to interpret LISP expressions. In this way we will not need to write a special interpreter for the LISP language. (Author)
