DEFORMATION OF METAL BY PULSE MAGNETIC FIELD (DEFORMIROVANIE METALLA IMPULSNYM MAGNITNYM POLEM),

Abstract

Metal forming by means of a pulsed magnetic field (PMF) is based on the conversion of the electric energy accumulated in the storage element during discharge via an inductor, to the energy of a pulsed magnetic field which creates the pressure shaping the metal blank. In this connection, the authors present formulas for determining the electric and magnetic parameters of the process. (Author)
