Abstract

This report forwards the book Automation of Aircraft and Rocket Power-plants. The book is intended as a textbook for the use in mechanical and aviation academies, and represents a revision of an earlier (1960) work by the same author. The book discusses automatic regulation and control of turbojet and turboprop engines, as well as single-pass air-breathing and liquid-fuel rocket engines. Of possible interest is a generalized discussion of other forms of powerplants, including nuclear, solid-fuel, ion and plasma propulsion. (Author)
