Abstract
The book contains principles of design wlements of automation with non-linear semiconductor resistors whose parameters depend to a substantial extent on temperature. The book considers necessary parameters and temperature characteristics of thermo resistors, diodes, photo diodes, transistors, photo transistors and varistors. It also describes the methodology for an approximate calculation of static and dynamic modes of electric circuits with these instruments. There is established a minimum of parameters, necessary for an exhaustive characteristic of their properties, and there are stated some considerations concerning the methodology of sorting semiconductor instruments with identical characteristics. The book shows the possibility of using the temperature dependence of parameters of the various semiconductor instruments for construction of temperature pickup elements. The book is intended for a wide circle of engineers and technicians interested in problems of automation of industrial processes. (Author)
