SCHEDULED INTERNATIONAL AIR CARRIER FLIGHT ACTIVITY DURING MAY 1967.

Abstract

This is the first attempt at a report on scheduled international flight activity. The number of scheduled air carrier flights fluctuates slightly with the day of the week reaching its peak on Friday and its low point on Sunday. Since interest is often centered on peak traffic rather than average traffic load, the report is presented in terms of Friday's scheduled traffic. Rough approximations for other days of the week can be made using the percentages indicated. Exact information with regard to day-of-the-week activity is available from the basic data source if required. (Author)
