ON THE EPIDEMIOLOGY OF TICK SPOTTED FEVER,

Abstract

The work was concerned with the study of the disease of the far eastern districts of Siberia and development of measures against it according to local conditions. Vegetation in this area is abundant; brush type trees covering a large area, giving favorable conditions to the life and development of rodents, hosts of the tick. Also, a large area of steppes, covered with dense tall grass, affords a good habitat for rodents and ticks. (Author)
