VARIATIONAL EQUATIONS FOR CERTAIN HOMOGENEOUS AND INHOMOGENEOUS LINEAR SYSTEMS,

Abstract

In studies of the design, sensitivity, and identification of linear systems, it is necessary to know the changes in the response and in the characteristic frequencies occasioned by a change in a system parameter. This is studied for the vector-matrix problem, and basic systems of differential equations are obtained for the solutions and the eigenvalues. (Author)
