STRUCTURAL SIGNS OF CERTAIN CLASSES OF COMPLEX SENTENCES (IN CONNECTION WITH THE QUESTION OF HOMONYMOUS CONJUNCTIONS) (STRUKTURNYE PRIZNAKI NEKOTORYKH KLASSOV SPOZHNOPODCHINENNYKH PREDLOZHENII) (V SVYAZI S VOPROSOM OB OMONIMII SOYUZOV),

Abstract

The author deals with the subject of complex subordinate clauses within a sentence in which homonymic connecting words are used. The relationship between the main and subordinate clauses, and the function of words within the sentence (i.e., how a word tends to govern, or is governed by other words, the presence of certain grammatical forms in words, etc.) are discussed.
