PROCEEDINGS OF THE INSTITUTE OF THEORETICAL ASTRONOMY,

Abstract

The paper is concerned with the development of the generalized planetary theory; i.e., the theory of planetary motion in pure trigonometric form. Two methods are suggested for the practical elaboration of such theory with the aid of modern digital computers. The rectangular coordinates are used in both methods, whereas most known methods have dealt with osculating elements, that is, with the action-angle variables. (Author)
