THERMAL INSULATION FROM WOOD FOR BUILDINGS: EFFECTS OF MOISTURE AND ITS CONTROL.

Abstract

Kinds of thermal insulation from wood are described, their design values are given, and the requirements for proper design are discussed. Methods are presented for estimating heat flow, fuel savings, and temperatures. Effects of moisture as influenced by insulation and cold weather are discussed. (Author)
