VIABILITY OF HEMOPHILUS PERTUSSIS IN AIR AND ON SOME ENVIRONMENTAL OBJECTS,

Abstract

Hemophilus pertussis survives in air in the dark at 17-20C and relative humidity of 60-65% for 19-20 hours. The microbe remains viable about 5 days when sprayed on cloth, 2 days on paper, and about 6 days on glass at 17-21C and relative humidity of 55-65%. (Author)
