WEAR AND FRICTION EVALUATION MACHINE,

Abstract

The report describes the function and capabilities of a reciprocating type wear and friction evaluation machine equipped with high temperature facilities. Reported are exploratory type evaluation test runs on titanium alloys, type H-11 steel and 410 stainless steel, as received, and in some cases, with lubrication and metallic coatings. (Author)
