DORSAL-FIN SLOT ANTENNA FOR 707/SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS,

Abstract

The design of a flush-mounted slot antenna in the dorsal fin of a 707 jet airliner for air-to-ground VHF communications via satellite relay is discussed. The radiation patterns, impedance, and power handling capability of the antenna are described. (Author)
