A SURVEY OF PROBABLE SURFACE WINDS ALONG TRAJECTORIES OF SMALL ROCKETS,

Abstract

A survey of the micrometeorological literature was conducted to determine the probable surface winds a small rocket will encounter along its trajectory. Micrometeorological theory, model studies in wind tunnels, and field observations pertinent to the objectives of the study are discussed. (Author)
