ATMOSPHERIC TURBULENCE AFFECTING AIRCRAFT FLIGHT (ATMOSFERNAYA TURBULENTNOST, VYZYUVAYUSHCHAYA BOLTANKU SAMOLETOV),

Abstract

The book consists of two parts, devoted to problems of atmospheric turbulence affecting aircraft flight stability. Presentation of experimental data on aircraft bumpiness in the upper troposphere and in the tropopause layer in the articles is accompanied by discussion of theoretical problems relating to stability of air currents in the atmosphere, the effect of atmospheric turbulence on aircraft flight conditions, etc. The book is intended for specialists in meteorology and aerodynamics and persons involved in organizing and carrying out aircraft flights.
