THE HEATS OF FORMATION OF THE CARBIDES OF ALUMINIUM AND BERYLLIUM.

Abstract

The heats of formation of the carbides of aluminium and beryllium were determined by dissolving them and by comparing their heats of solution in hydrochloric acid at 110C with those of the constituent metals. The experiments were carried out in closed glass vessels. (Author)
