SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION. ALL UNION CONFERENCE ON COMPUTATIONAL MATHEMATICS, 22-26 JAN 65, MOSCOW (VSESOYUZNAYA KONFERENTSIYA PO VYCHISLITELNOI MATEMATIKE, 22-26 YANVAR 65, MOSKVA),

Abstract

Excerpts from All Union Conference of Calculation Mathematics held in Moscow on January 22 through January 26, 1965. In linear algebra greater efforts were directed towards the development of new solving methods of full problems of natural values for nonsymmetrical matrices. Whole series of reports were presented in the field of quadrature formulas for the purpose of finding optimum functional classes of integration methods. Conventional differential equations were developed for the analysis of individual integration methods. At the conference were represented applications for calculation methods in mechanics, physics and chemistry. Speeches on the development of computational mathematics were presented by many authors. A considerable increase in level of theoretical investigations in computational mathematics has been indicated. The fact of heptadimensional problems was indicated.
