Abstract

Summaries are given of research projects which included: Ultrasonic measurements in Hg-Tl alloys; elastic modulus and internal friction measurements on alkali halide crystals after exposure to x-rays; internal friction measurements of the earliest stages of plastic deformation in steel and Mg; acoustic measurements of materials under high-pressure.
