A METHOD OF GRINDING AND FINISHING DIAMOND CONES (SPOSOB SHLIFOVKI ILI DOVODKI ALMAZNYKH KONUSOV),

Abstract

Method of grinding and finishing diamond cones claims that all points in the direction of diminishing hardness are treated insofar as the diamond is additionally rotated round an axis perpendicular to the plane of the grinding disc; this not only speeds up the machining but also increases its exactness in terms of finish; the rotation specified is superposed on the conventional rotation of the diamond, i.e., round the axis of the cone.
