STUDIES IN SOCIAL AND POLITICAL BEHAVIOR AND CHANGE: COMMUNIST CHINA.

Abstract

This is a short summary final report of a major project on social-political behavior and change in Communist China as studied by an interdisciplinary group of social scientists from the faculty and advanced graduate students in the fields of anthropology, history, political science and sociology of the East Asian Research Center of Harvard University. Basic research, using primary sources, was conducted on various aspects of Communist China including political organization, economic organization, education, medicine, military organization and strategy, leadership elites, and minority groups.
