UNIFIED TREATMENT OF VECTORS AND TENSORS IN N-DIMENSIONAL EUCLIDEAN SPACE.
Abstract
A unified treatment of vectors, tensors and multivectors in n-dimensional Euclidean space is presented. The unified treatment is so systematized that n-dimensional tensors of arbitrary order are treated similarly to three-dimensional vectors. Work on this subject was done in connection with difficulties which arise in the continuum mechanics pertaining to large deformations of such media as soil and snow. (Author)
