STATUS OF AERIAL COLOR PHOTOGRAPHY IN GOVERNMENT AGENCIES

Abstract

The utility of aerial color photography for studies in the fields of geology, geography, archaeology, landforms, range management, target detection, highway planning, and hydrology has been recognized by those who are working in aerial photography; however, the usefulness of color has not been determined adequately for Military Geographic Intelligence. This report is a summation of research into the status of aerial color photography in several Government agencies, and its application to specific problems. (Author)
