TURBULENT DIFFUSION IN THE GROUND LAYER OF THE ATMOSPHERE

Abstract

Solutions of the hyperbolic equation of turbulent flow in the near ground layer of air with indifferent stratification are investigated. As an example the diffusion of smoke at ambient temperature from a chimney is examined. The generalized expression for diffusion is indicated for cases with arbitrary temperature stratification of the air.
