CALCULATION OF LOSS OF TOTAL PRESSURE IN DIFFUSER CHANNELS (K VOPROSU RASCHETA POTER POLNOGO DAVLENIYA V DIFFUZORNYKH KANALAKH),

Abstract

The article deals with the different determinations of equivalent angles of expansion used in the evaluation of the losses of total pressure in curvilinear diffuser channels. It is shown that diffusers should be considered equivalent which have identical degrees of widening. The length is determined by the ratio of the surface of the diffuser to the area of its output section. (Author)
