AN ANTISURGE REGULATOR (PROTIVOPOMPAZHNYI REGULYATOR),
Abstract
This author certificate introduces an antisurge regulator for gas-turbine and other power-plant compressors. It contains diaphragm and bellows-type pressure-drop gages which transmit command signals to an actuator which is provided with a nozzle-flapper system and which regulates the operation of the compressor. For enhanced sensitivity and reliability, a flexible coupling is inserted between the gages. The coupling is made of elastic plates, one of which serves as the flapper in the nozzle-flapper system.
