THE EFFECT OF THE CHARACTER OF GROUND SURFACE ON THE POLARIZATION OF SCATTERED LUMINOSITY OF THE SKY (VLIYANIE SVOISTV PODSTILAYUSHCHEI POVERKHNOSTI NA POLYARIZATSIYU RASSEIANNOGO SVETA NEBA),

Abstract

Results are presented on the degree of polarization and the orientation of the polarization plane, as measured by a spectrophotometer with automatic recording. The dependence of polarization on snow cover, wavelength, etc., is considered.
