CRITICAL SURVEY OF MAGNETO-FLUID-DYNAMICS. PART I. RESEARCH IN INDIA. PART II. RESEARCH IN AUSTRIA AND GERMANY.
Abstract
In this report, we survey those works in magnetofluid dynamics of those foreign eminent scientists whose works are not well known in the USA, particularly in those research center in India and West Europe (especially Germany and Austria) where the principal investigator had the opportunities to visit during his sabbatical leave from University of Maryland for the Academic year 1966 to 1967. Since the advance of magnetofluid dynamics in general and the advances in research in fluid dynamics would be of interest, we discussed both the research work in magnetofluid dynamics as well as other aspects of fluid dynamics research in India and West European countries.
