A DIGITAL PROGRAM FOR ON-LINE CORRELATION AND POWER SPECTRAL DENSITY ANALYSIS,

Abstract

Usual procedures for the recording and analysis of analog data are summarized and a technique for on-line correlation and spectrum analysis by means of a small digital computer with analog input and graphic output capability is described. This technique was programmed in FORTRAN II for an SDS 920, and special emphasis was placed on ease of use by providing a man/machine dialogue. This program is most suited to the analysis of analog signals in the sub-audio range. It is an example of the use of small digital computers as general laboratory instruments. (Author)
