AUTOMATIC MONITORING SYSTEMS FOR VELOCITY AND FLOWRATE FIELDS,

Abstract

Systems for automatic control of velocity fields plus elements of such systems, various methods of scanning and probing control of velocity fields and flow rates; various methods and devices for automatic control of nonstationary flow rates of fluids and gases are analyzed; mass, turbine, ultrasonic, induction, thermal and other flow meters are analyzed. The area of optimal application of these devices are determined; the accuracy of which they are capable and the most promising areas of further development are indicated. Design recommendations are given for most of the meters presented. (Author)
