Abstract

It is believed that the sympathetic nervous system is of important significance in the infection and immunity in anthrax. In vaccination against anthrax the immunizing effect occurs when the sympathetic nervous system, adapting the organism to the changed conditions of environment, is drawn into the vaccinal process. Post-vaccinal complications in inoculations against anthrax have a close association with the tonus of the vegetative nervous system in the animals before their vaccination.
