POINTED LUNAR IR EXPERIMENT.

Abstract

Measurements of the 3.75 - 14 micrometer differential thermal emission spectrum of two different broad regions of the moon have been performed with a rocket-borne filter wedge spectrometer. Ratios of emission with accuracies of a few percent have been obtained. The data show some spectral differences which appear real in comparison to the estimated errors. (Author)
