ON THE TRANSITION STATE IN FREE RADICAL INTERACTIONS,

Abstract

The isotopic labeling of the ethylene products from the reaction of C2D5 radicals with C3H7 radicals was investigated using the appropriate azoalkanes as the radical source. Results suggest strongly that a four-center mechanism is not involved as the transition state in this radical-radical reaction. (Author)
