THE TRISM THEORY: AN APPLICATION TO THE ANALYSIS OF LOGICAL POSITIVISM,

Abstract

The paper was prepared for presentation at the 14th International Congress of Philosophy, Vienna, Austria, 2-9 September 1968. The paper presents another stage in the development of a general theory of knowledge developed by the author. The basic approach, called the trism theory, was first presented at the 3rd International Congress for Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science, in Amsterdam, August 1967. Since then, the major improvement in the model has been reduction of the theory to specific axioms and definitions. (Author)
