HYPERSONIC FLOW AROUND A TRIANGULAR PLATE WITH BLUNTED LEADING EDGES,

Abstract

Hypersonic flow of a perfect gas with a constant adiabatic exponent past a triangular plate with a 20 degree apex angle and blunted leading edges at zero angle of attack is discussed. The simplest two-layer flow pattern is used in analysis to obtain qualitative results, giving a clear picture of interrelations among the flow parameters. (Author)
