CALCULATIONS ON STRENGTH AND VIBRATIONS OF ROCKET ENGINES (CHAPTER 3, SELECTED SECTIONS),

Abstract

The author writes about investigations and calculations concerning: the supporting power of a double layer cylindrical shell with and without consideration of axial load; the strength reserve of multilayer shells by supporting power, and changes in elasticity modulus of carbon and stainless steels; strength calculation of supporting plates and bottoms; equilibrium equations of a bent plate; bending of a solid plate of constant transverse section; and the calculation of perforated plates.
