THE ALBEDO OF A MOUNTAIN REGION FROM HELICOPTER OBSERVATIONS,
Abstract
Albedos were measured from helicopters in a Central Asia mountain region in the vicinity of Tashkent, Yangi-Abad, and the Angren plateau. They are made at different times of the year and the results showed that the terrain influenced the albedo along with the snow cover. Comparative figures are given.
