Abstract

Written primarily as a handbook for Army use, Part 1 gives an elementary description of the operation of long wire antennas, in particular the inverted-V, with practical considerations in field mobile use. Part II gives simple technical design information and formulae. Part III gives the derivation of the design formulae and methods for easy calculation of the beamwidth and secondary lobes of principal importance. (Author)
