THE CONDITIONS OF OBSERVATION OF THE ZODIACAL LIGHT DURING A SOLAR ECLIPSE,

Abstract

The expected luminance of the zodiacal light in the vicinity of the sun is evaluated by two different methods. It is shown that the corresponding polarization is rather great and is oriented toward the sun. It makes it possible to analyze the observed integral luminance of the sky background during the solar eclipse and to distinguish the zodiacal component. (Author)
