DECODING METHOD FOR CYCLIC CODES, CORRECTING MULTIPLE BATCHES OF ERRORS (METOD DEKODIROVANIYA DLYA TSIKLICHESKIKH KODOV, ISPRAVLYAYUSHCHIKH MNOGOKRATNYE PACHKI OSHIBOK),

Abstract

One of the ways of increasing the reliability of transmitting communications and to increase the passability of the communication channel, appears to be the application of linear coding systems, using cyclic codes with the correction of repeated batches of errors. In this report a method is proposed for the decoding of binary cyclic codes, correcting multiple batches of errors of any advance-given maximum length - t. This method is intended for a certain class of cyclic codes. The basic parameters of which n, m, and r are connected by ratio n/r = or > m + t where n is dimension of code vector, m is number of information symbols, and r is maximum number of error batches corrected by the code.
