PLANNING IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH INSTITUTES AND DESIGN BUREAUS,

Abstract

Discussed here are the problems of planning, operational accounting and operational reporting at the institutions of scientific research and design bureaus. Emphasis is put on the following points: continuity of planning and concordance between the long-range and operational planning; the unity of planning - drawing up a master working plan for all participants in the execution of the project, from its start to the introduction of the results in the national economy; and an analysis of the results. Concrete examples are used to illustrate the planning calculation methods for the enterprise and its divisions, for all indexes. Consideration is given to problems of the introduction of accounting methods and the application of computing technique to raise the productivity of engineering and technical workers. This book is intended for those in charge of the scientific research institutes and their subdivisions, engineering and technical workers, and economists. It will be of use also to economic engineering students in the schools of higher learning.
