CHARACTERISTICS OF BRUCELLA, ISOLATED IN THE ROSTOVSKAYA OBLAST,

Abstract

This report states that brucellosis in humans in the Rostovskaya Oblast in 1951-1964 in the majority of cases was caused by Br. melitensis, making up 95.2% of the cultures isolated. Of the strains isolated from humans 3.2% were related to Br. abortus and 1.6% to Br. suis. (Author)
