PSYCHOTOMIMETIC AGENTS WITH ANTICHOLINERGIC ACTIVITY,

Abstract

In recent years the attention of research workers has been drawn to a group of substances that are capable of evoking psychic disturbances when administered to healthy persons and to persons with mental illnesses (neuroses and psychoses). Common to all this group of substances is their marked anticholinergic (atropine-like) activity). The drugs considered here are benactyzine and ditran. (Author)
