RESULTS OF AND PROSPECTS FOR THE STUDY AND USE OF LIVE TULAREMIA VACCINE IN THE USSR

Abstract

During the past 20 years, besides the widespread use of live tularemia vaccine in the USSR, comprehensive studies have been made on its preventive value under a variety of epidemiological conditions and on improved methods of preparing and administering it. Also, extensive microbiological and immunological research has made important contributions to the theory and practice of vaccinoprophylaxis of tularemia.
