ELEMENT STIFFNESS MATRICES FOR CONSTANT AND LINEAR STRESS TRIANGLE CONSTANT AND LINEAR STRESS TETRAHEDRON,

Abstract

The constant stress triangular plate has been used extensively in the displacement method of matrix structural analysis. It is the purpose of this technical report to develop the linear stress triangle for both the orthotropic and isotropic case and to present the resulting matrices in explicit form. The constant stress triangle is presented for programming reference. (Author)
