ELECTROMAGNETIC SCATTERING IN THE TIME DOMAIN ON A PERFECTLY CONDUCTING CURVED SURFACE,

Abstract

The problem of backscattering of an electromagnetic step function by a curved surface is formulated in terms of a triple integral. Several approximations to this integral are made and evaluated. Special attention is then given to the penumbra region and an approximate analytical solution is developed for that part of the response due to this region. (Author)
